My wife kept disappearing for hours at a time to attend various events with a number of charities and other groups of women.  

I couldn't keep all the different groups straight, and would refer to them as  her "random ass friends."

As different women from various organizations became more friendly with one another, they began creating events that included their husbands. As the group grew (and different personalities mixed) a certain smaller number of couples found themselves drawn to each other.  At dinner one night, we collectively branded ourselves as the Random Ass Friends.

Our group is comprised of mostly retired or nearly retired people with similar interest and views.  Our members are fun loving, open minded, active individuals.  We dine out, dine in, meet for drinks, sports, board games, card games and in general have great times without any drama.

Each member truly cares about everyone in the group! There is rarely a week or weekend that goes by without a planned event taking place.

Every member has expressed that each of their lives are richer and fuller because of this group of "Random Ass Friends!"
